Did you know that Walgreens Healthcare Clinic does back to school physicals? I was concerned that registering my son for first grade would be a challenge, as we have not found a primary care physician since we have moved. I was thrilled when I stopped by my local Walgreens and found that the Walgreens Healthcare Clinic can do camp and school physicals without an appointment! 
I loved that I didn't have to show a ton of paperwork, or insurance at a reception desk. My kids and I didn't have to wait in a stuffy waiting room wondering if the doctor was on time. Within minutes of arriving, we were signed in and knew how many patients were in front of us. The process was smooth and easy to maneuver with two young children.
We loved the bedside manner of the Board-certified Nurse Practitioner, as she explained everything she did prior to examining my son. As a parent, I loved that the nurse and nurse practitioner asked probing history questions, so that my son's medical history did not go unnoticed.  Want to see all of the details of our visit? Walgreens Healthcare Clinics are perfect for:
  1. Patients who do not have primary care physicians.
  2. Patients who work traditional work hours, as Walgreens Health Clinics have hours in the evenings & weekends.
  3. Patients new to the community.
  4. Patients with limited time. (Walk-ins are welcome, the website can give updated wait times) 
  5. Walgreens is local and in most communities
