Mama Kat's Writer's Workshop: You know Your A Mom When...
Writing Prompts:
1.) Write about a time you were forced to step out of your comfort zone.2.) Time for a break! Show us where you go for quiet time.
3.) You know you’re a Mom when…
4.) Dig out your high school yearbook and share a message a friend wrote that stands out to you.
5.) Share something you learned embarrassingly late in life.
I am amazed at the amount of
In our book bag:
- Pull Ups
- Wipes
- 2 sets of extra clothing (Size 2T and 5T)
- Snacks
- Sun screen packets
- Off bug spray packets
- Crayons and activity pad
- Band aids
I look forward to the time when Ryan is potty trained, so that I no longer have to carry the book bag! What a joyous day that will be! The little Monsters can lug around their own drinks, snacks, or other items that they feel they must need. But, alas we are still not trained, so Momma is the pack mule carting around their stuff.
How much stuff do you cart around, just to run a few errands? Have you reached the point where you can just grab your purse and go? Do you cringe at the thought of leaving the house with out a bag, just in case?
what a cute post idea! found you via the blog hop and am excited to follow along xo
ReplyDeleteI can totally relate! I actually bought a really big purse/canvas tote so I could stop carrying multiple bags everywhere. It's big enough for my stuff plus a sippy cup, snacks, a few diapers, small wipes container and an extra outfit. It really is amazing how much stuff you need just to leave the house! I can't wait until mine in potty trained as well. Stopping by from Mama Kat's :)
ReplyDeleteI LOVE that my kids are now old enough that I don't have to take anything with me! That was like a HUGE hurdle to overcome in parenthood (mine are now 6, 9, 10, & 11). However, I never had all that stuff with me at one time! You're WAY more organized than I've ever been. I was usually missing the sunscreen and oftentimes, either the diaper or the wipes. One or the other! Loved the post!

Going anywhere is like going camping! Sometimes, when I'm feeling like a daredevil, I bring nothing and hope for adventure. No seriously, that's adventure these days!
